Hi! My name is Rebecca. After struggling with hormonal issues and seeing the birth control pill as the band-aid it really is, I underwent a complete lifestyle overhaul. This has led me to my passion of educating women on their health so that they know there are options for hormonal issues like PCOS, acne, pain, PMS, and endometriosis, outside of hormonal birth control. I love to teach women about the importance of eating for health, how and why we should take care of our bodies as God intended, and how you can chart your cycle as a tool to measure your overall health and detect possible hormonal imbalances.
I am a Certified Health Coach and Fertility Educator in which I studied nutrition, a holistic approach to health, and the female reproductive system. I believe in a mind, body, and soul approach to health and love incorporating fitness, nutrition, and faith in order to help women achieve optimum wellness. I love offering these services to complement FEMM’s Restorative Reproductive Medical Management approach to restore hormones, health, and fertility.
I teach women and teens who wish to track their hormones for health purposes as well as women looking to achieve or avoid pregnancy naturally. I am also here to support women in making lifestyle changes that can improve their health, whether for hormonal reasons, college students seeking to manage stress, disease prevention, and maintenance, weight loss, or just to feel better and improve their overall well-being.
I am a practicing Catholic and my approach is to walk with women with the mindset that whatever health ailment you are struggling with is not a “problem to be fixed” but a cross to carry. It is through learning to love and accept yourself/your health ailment just as you are that we receive the greatest healing. I hope you can learn to take care of yourself out of love for self, God, and others. To carry your cross with Jesus and community. And I hope for you to see yourself as God sees you, to know His love for you, and live from that. When we view our health challenges in this way it is easier to stay balanced when making changes for your health and well-being.
My background includes work as a Fertility Educator at a local non-profit pregnancy clinic, working at a Naturopathic Doctor’s office, fitness center settings, as well as a brief stint as an Art Teacher for grades k-8. In college I interned for the Mayor’s Healthy City – Healthy BR. I have also taught NFP 101 courses for my local Diocese.
In my free time I enjoy being active, walks outside in nature, and spending time with friends, family, and my dog named Star.
